Do you want to obtain a coastal license for driving pleasure boats with a motor or jet ski? To do this, you will need to pass a theoretical test. general organized by the administration and practical training validated by our center and our approved instructor.
Accessible from 16 years old, the coastal license is compulsory to drive a motor boat as soon as the engine power exceeds 6Cv (or 4.5kw) and allows navigation day and night within 6 miles of a shelter. It is also necessary for pilot a water-powered vehicle such as a water scooter or jet ski. On the other hand, know that it is not necessary for a sailboat.
At the end of the theoretical test and the practical training, the CNPA île de Ré will issue you with a certificate of success. This provisional certificate is valid for 1 month and will allow you to sail while waiting for the final license.
